Things have significantly improved since 2013
The standout feature of this HD revamp is the improved controls with the second stick, which make the gameplay smoother and more enjoyable. This addresses a major issue from the original game, bringing the experience closer to Luigi's 2019 adventure and enhancing the overall playability.
Luigi's Mansion 2 shines with its expanded and vibrant adventure compared to the first game. Instead of being confined to a single mansion, Luigi explores multiple locations, each meticulously designed with cleverness and creativity. The game offers substantial content, taking around 30 hours to complete if you delve into all the secrets, making it feel like a true Nintendo masterpiece. The levels are thoughtfully crafted, providing a delightful mix of combat and puzzles that utilize the unique environment, making even mundane tasks like searching bins and drawers rewarding.
The addition of rumble feedback during fights on the Switch enhances the immersion, making wrangling ghouls and aiming more satisfying.
